Hope you are doing well. I tried your tutorial on creating a weatherbot using rasa. I proceeded similarly as directed by you in the video. Everything was going fine. But when I run “npm i -g rasa-nlu-trainer”, its giving me errors. The error file is attached with this message. I’m using windows 10.

We are building a escalation response chat bot for our global reporting system. I have a question about best practices for storing models. We are training 6 chatbots - do we dedicate 6 instances or just one instance for all models? Any concerns about performance? Love to hear your thoughts on this.

Hi All! I work with Accenture as a Software Developer. Digging into Data Science lately. I’m a Big Data engineer. Now, I’m trying to expand my skills in NLP, so as a hobby, I started learning RASA last three weeks ago. I have successfully deployed my project on Facebook messenger and let my friends use it.
Anya-bot
This is simple information Conversational AI that discusses stuffs about the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines. Of course, it talks my native language which is Tagalog.
Features
- Defines COVID-19
- Symptoms of COVID-19
- Latest total cases, deaths and recoveries
- Provides COVID-19 emergency hotlines
- Random questions about COVID
Architecture
- Run rasa components via Jenkins build
- Scrape latest cases using selenium and save results to lookup rather than using BeautifulSoup every time (this will help your bot return the count of cases faster)
- Scraping is cronned every 30 minutes in Jenkins since it doesn’t need to be super real-time.
Future
- Add another Filipino native language which is Ilokano
Challenges
- tweaking of the built-in pipeline since I’m using building a model from scratch
- there different intents entities for simple question in Tagalog since some of our words can be shortened in several ways
- model training takes about 2-3 hrs.
- I’m using a “just good” laptop
- hosting it locally (ngrok) since I’m not yet knowledgeable on how to deploy it (I have an AWS with 12 months free to tho I don’t now how to set it up XD)

am not sure if i get your question right, but i undrestand that you need to measure time before the query until the end, i think it depends mostly about what action actions you are willing to execute some of actions needs more time than others, and that affect the time of wait … i dont think that i get your point so please post your question on forum as new topic so you can get help from rasa’s team or any others contributers. hope you get your answers

Hello everyone ! My name is Derguene Mbaye, I am from Senegal in West Africa! I am a Telecommunications & Networks engineer, passionate about technology, mainly artificial intelligence. I co-founded with friends the first and largest community of Data Science enthusiasts in Senegal called GalsenAI and I also joined other structures such as BlackInAI or Masakhane where I participate in a data collection project and Dataset cleanup for Named Entity Recognition for the Wolof language (language mainly spoken in Senegal). I discovered Rasa during my end-of-study internship where I had to set up a chatbot serving as alternatives to USSD technology for local telecommunications operators. The chatbot is currently in place and accessible via Whatsapp (thanks to Twilio and AWS) although there are still improvements to be made. I have thus developed a great interest in NLP mainly dialogue systems and I would very much like to start research in this field afterward and contribute enormously to the RASA project which helped me a lot in my internship.

I’m Pauli, developing chatbots for community usage. In the beginning of this project, first task was to evaluate open source chat bots on the market, I made feature review table and Rasa was chosen by product owners. Main reason were truly open source, some claim to be open source but were not actually. then was good support and lively user forum.
Started coding in my mid ages, and now 55, writing Python programs for chatbots and Nao humanoid robot. In coding I like most problem solving.

Hopefully, I will be able to build a chatbot at a fraction of the cost of some of the other frameworks. Hi everyone, my name is Randy and I’m from Toronto, Canada . My company creates custom electronic designs, from concept to completion. Most of our work is in measurement and test systems, often microprocessor based, often including sensors and analog designs. Lately we have been working on a couple of projects in computer vision (my own formal education is in physics/optics), one of which is envisioned to have a chatbot to interface with the user. I have downloaded Rasa, developing on Windows now, but ultimate destination is Nvidia Jetson Nano. Always excited to learn something new, especially something with so much potential. Thanks Rasa!

Hello! I’m Paul Drabinski. I am a student in Georgia Tech’s OMSCS program and a Data Scientist at a Canadian telecom. I lead our NLP analyses, foremost of which is understanding why our customers reach out to us. I’ve been learning about data science and creative AI for the last year. I want to create a virtual assistant for people with certain chronic health conditions including HSD (Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder). I have this myself, so I’m a bit of a domain expert!
I came across RASA at the European Chatbot Summit and instantly felt it was a good fit for what I’m trying to achieve, and that it will only get better (level 4 personalized assistants).
I live in Shetland (a group of islands a long way off the north coast of Scotland) and love the wildlife, scenery, archaeology and community spirit.

Hi there, I’m Joanna from Montreal, senior business/tech analyst at National Bank of Canada. I’m part of a team that integrates and manages Chatbots in our company. We use a platform built on top of the Rasa framework. I’m mainly involved in day-to-day management of our bots content, deployment of improved models, quality assurance, asset management/CMDB, requests (demands/bugs) management, processes improvement and requirements analysis.
I’m continuously looking for ways to improve the management of our chatbots performance and quality and while I have a non technical background, I love to develop my technical skills whenever I have the opportunity.

We’ve developed a module for the Asterisk VOIP platform and a server that allows communication with the Rasa chatbot in voice calls. Our server uses a Yandex speech kit (STT and TTS, grpc protocol). Also could use other STT and TTS services that support WebSocket or grpc protocol.
We are looking for possible cooperation in connecting Asterisk and Rasa. Using chatbots in voice calls.

Hello everybody,
I’m Theo, from the UK. I’ve been building chatbots since 2006 for banks, telcos, energy companies, car manufacturers, education, retail, etc. I love mountains, hikes, Python, Rasa, Spacy, Kubernetes and making lists…
I mostly care about:
- abstracting data and build process so it’s easier for content/flow editors.
- removing technical barriers from the build process so design and experience are the focus.
- being honest, pragmatic and realistic with clients about what chatbots can do.
- the “magic” when a chatbot projects starts coming together and everything works and I can sleep at night.
I love Rasa because:
- it uses Python (did I say I love Python?)
- it’s flexible (I can make my own custom policies, components, importers, etc). I have way more control than I would do with some other platforms. I honestly don’t know how I would realistically implement what clients want without this sort of flexibility.
- it’s opensource yay!
Our setup:
- Rasa Core with custom dialogue manager policy, custom tracker, and a fair few custom components
- Kubernetes for dev/prod environments
- Cloud Build/Cloud Functions for training and automated deployment
- Firestore for storing trackers and chat usage data
- Cloud Functions for weekly/monthly reporting
- Cloud Storage and Google Drive for managing files, models, etc
- Cloud Scheduler and Pub/Sub to schedule tasks (reporting, health checks, deleting old pods, etc)
We’ve started a company doing this and we’re hoping to secure clients soon! I’ll post up a link to our chatbot once the current round of updates are complete.

Hello! I am Rakesh. I’m studying for a master’s degree in Data Analytics. I like to explore new technology, and now I’m trying to learn how to use Rasa. I heard the first time about Rasa, in my ML class at my university. I want to use Rasa technology to build service chatbots that can be used in our day-to-day life.

I was a systems analyst at NASA during the Apollo lunar missions, and later became a statistician doing clinical research at Emory University. Recently, I have been a data scientist using machine learning/deep learning models (especially NLP models), both as a head of data science for Price.com and now Alt Investing 2.0. Because I want to develop a conversational chatbot for Alts Investing, I looked at several options and at this point, want to use Rasa for that development.

Hi all,
I’m Vinay, a software engineer from Kerala, India. I am currently working on a Rasa chatbot that handles FAQ and business logic for the users of a CRM product we are currently building at our startup.
I am interested in open source software and have been using Rasa for the past 4 months. Before that I used to an automobile engineer, got interested in ML. I made a career switch and started as a full-time software engineer after dwelling into ML applications for a couple years.
I love learning new things and look forward to having meaningful discussions, great collaborations and a few contributions here in the Rasa community.

I see it’s a new library.
I did 3 days of debugging to manage to install it!

Hi there, since it’s always interesting to know more about the people who uses a tool I will be sharing a little bit about myself.
I’m curretly working and studying as a software developer by Edubookers.com and Archipel Academy. My study project is about creating a proof of concept of a personal learning assistence that will improve the learning experience within our LMS platforms.
Rasa has been a joy to work with so far. It’s incredibly designed. It’s not easy to learn about all the concepts on a detailed level in a short period of time, but after many iterations I’ve been able to find my way in it.
Thank you for your work on this and also making it open source. The barrier is low to get started with it. As a company we will probably consider using the Pro version and perhaps X to gain insight in the converations.

Hello Rasa Community. My name is Markus and I am currently in training to become accredited as a Peer Worker in the healthcare sector. This means I will work with people going through mental or physical health crisis or are dealing with other forms of hard times. During my studies and courses in classroom and online I found out, that the one essential part to become better in coaching sessions that is missing is the availability of training partners.
