I am Juste (at some places you can also see my name written as Justina), a Developer Advocate at Rasa. My main mission is to make sure that developers have the best experience when using Rasa software, so I focus on developer education and growth of Rasa open source community. Before joining Rasa I used Rasa Stack as a developer - built some bots with it and made some educational content contributions.
I love seeing people building cool things and helping them overcome the obstacles they have, so always feel free to shoot me a message if you have any questions or issues with Rasa Stack or anything else you think I could help!

Greetings! I am Audun. I’m studying for a master’s degree in media and interaction design at the University of Bergen, Norway. I enjoy exploring all kinds of new technology, and this summer I’m trying to learn how to use Rasa Stack. First time I heard about Rasa, was at the “mcb tech .18” conference in Media City Bergen. I want to use the Rasa technology to build great community service chatbots.
Besides chatbots, I’m especially interested in projects involving VR, AR, Raspberry Pi, OpenCV, and 3D printing. I also enjoy being outdoors, hiking in the mountains

Hi Everyone! I am Palash. I am an ML engineer at a consultancy firm at Pune, India. I started working on Rasa stack to replace the LUIS based bot used by my company and then I got hooked up. Most of my time is spent on learning new technologies and watching random science videos on youtube. Some of my favorite Youtube channels are Mark Rober, Cody’sLab, SmarterEveryDay, Vsauce, Veritasium, Physics Girl and many more. I am Software Engineer from India, I have been working on Chat bot’s for about 1 year in which i have started with Dialogflow , Watson and the Rasa stack. I have been working on rasa chat bot for about 6 months and now i want to explore every thing related to ML and python . and all thanks to Rasa community for that. Hey there, I’m Alex, I’m working as a R&D engineer in a research center in Belgium (Multitel). I’ve been working for 7 years as a speech processing engineer (recognition and enhancement). I also worked in other fields like biomedical signal processing and image processing. I discovered RASA 6 months ago and I really enjoy it! Hi I am Alvaro, I am from Spain and I am currently develpoing an interactive bot mixed with some nueral network models for my end of degree project in Computer Engineering in Zaragoza. I am working in the Technologic Institute of Aragon.
I got interested in these kind of bot stuff due to some papers I read about Question answering then I my boss found Rasa and challenged me to implement the bot using Rasa so here I am.
I love hanging out with my friends, the Autumn, watching series and movies and of course having a fun time coding and getting as much knowledge as I can in Computer Science

Hi ! I’m antoinecomp from London ! I’m an assistant researcher at Queen Mary University ! I’m working on Open Domain Question Answering such as DrQA developed by Facebook research team. I’m trying to make DrQA, or a strongly lighter version of it, a service of a Rasa Chatbot so at the end the bot would be able to answer any question ^^

Hi, I’m Tobias. I am using RASA Core and NLU to create a chatbot as part of my master thesis at the Karlsruher Institute of Technology. As I am relatively new in the area of chatbot development and AI I hope to get useful insights that will help me in developing my own Bot. The chatbot I am developing is supposed to answer questions about the curriculum of the study program of my faculty (Industrial Engineering and Management). I’ve already built a prototype and am working on expanding the functionality right now, improve the conversational flow, entity extraction and generating suitable training data for my bot. Also, I would like to implement an end-to-end bot for handling chitchat, but as my bot has to be German I have some issues in finding a good corpus with conversations in German. @Rahul, anything is possible in technology. Only question is the approach that you would want to follow. To your questions, YES for first 2 questions, for the 3rd it is very easy to implement. To arrive at the answer for Q1 you can make a simple bot and understand the working of it, this will give you an idea

I haven’t had a lot of experience with ML/Rasa yet but I am eager to learn. I see many opportunities this could be applied to as my previous background is in customer service, tech support, & sales.

Howdy! John Loutzenhiser here. I am a machine learning consultant and software architect. My main client is the German government, mostly the Bundesagentur für Arbeit (Federal Employment Commission). I am employed by the German software consultancy firm msg-systems. i have been using Rasa stack for about 8 months now. I am pursuing getting some projects going with my clients with rasa, will keep you posted on that. I am interested in creating bots that offer a fluid, natural and robust user experience, and am excited about the possibilities that CUIs open up for creating intelligent software we can really talk to!

Hi,
I’m Andy from Seattle and I am a data scientist working on chat bots related to weight loss and disease prevention. We are implementing RASA NLU as part of a meal logging application (the meal logging application is already developed using cloud NLU and NLP services but we are using RASA NLU to enhance the product beyond what cloud services provide). I joined this forum because I really like using RASA NLU and also am hoping to get help implementing custom components (specifically a custom CRF).

Hi am prasanth am working as a Program Analyst Trainee in an Organiztion…
I am new to rasa_nlu and am having a doubt i want to create an Intent with a entity that entity should capture dynamic values…(i.e. that can be anything) when i was deveeloping in alexa searchyQuery helped as like in Dialogflow sys.any helped in that issue is there any way i can build the entity with RASA_NLU if so please help me.

sys.any also works over large data set provided by dialogflow… You need to train your bot with the data set you would like your bot to extract from a sentence.

I’m Marco from Berlin and I’m thrilled to try out Rasa since I first saw it on one of the early Berlin Chatbot meetups and now I finally managed to start
Originally I’m a UX Designer but I’m building Bots and prototyping tools since almost five years now. So my background is a bit less techy and I see myself more as a babel fish between machines and end users. That’s why I have to admit that I had some real difficulties to get the whole stack running but now I’m fully into learning how to shape nice and understandable dialogues for the end users

Used to work for one of the big 4 banks in the UK and that was when I first exposed to chatbot application. Hey everyone! My name is Felix. I am an 3rd year game engineer student. I am currently working on a game fro a school project with a team of game designers, artists and other programmers to make an small story driven game where the player can say whatever to the NPC’s. We think Rasa can help us to do just this. The idea is to turn each NPC into an ‘chatbot’. So the player has to figure out what to say to get the information from the NPC that the player is looking for instead of choosing from a select few dialogue options. I am learning a lot about machine learning and how chatbots are made. I know this project is really ambitious, but I believe that it is doable. I want to thank the Rasa team for the awesome work they are doing.

It has a very similar concept to what you want to achieve so you can check it out if you need some inspiration I played it a bit and I really enjoyed the concept of having a chatbot driving the narrative of the game. hey juste is there a provision to link rasa-bot directly to my android app? if yes how do we do it and one more question when we give input for example my bot handles food order requests when i say "i want pizza from south-hyderabad " bot recognizes location as ‘south-hyderabad’ since it is in the example stories.md file is there a provisioin to train my bot to recognize all the famous places in the world without telling it in stories.md
