Hi,
I’m Andy from Seattle and I am a data scientist working on chat bots related to weight loss and disease prevention. We are implementing RASA NLU as part of a meal logging application (the meal logging application is already developed using cloud NLU and NLP services but we are using RASA NLU to enhance the product beyond what cloud services provide). I joined this forum because I really like using RASA NLU and also am hoping to get help implementing custom components (specifically a custom CRF).

Hi am prasanth am working as a Program Analyst Trainee in an Organiztion…
I am new to rasa_nlu and am having a doubt i want to create an Intent with a entity that entity should capture dynamic values…(i.e. that can be anything) when i was deveeloping in alexa searchyQuery helped as like in Dialogflow sys.any helped in that issue is there any way i can build the entity with RASA_NLU if so please help me.

sys.any also works over large data set provided by dialogflow… You need to train your bot with the data set you would like your bot to extract from a sentence.

I’m Marco from Berlin and I’m thrilled to try out Rasa since I first saw it on one of the early Berlin Chatbot meetups and now I finally managed to start
Originally I’m a UX Designer but I’m building Bots and prototyping tools since almost five years now. So my background is a bit less techy and I see myself more as a babel fish between machines and end users. That’s why I have to admit that I had some real difficulties to get the whole stack running but now I’m fully into learning how to shape nice and understandable dialogues for the end users

Hey everyone! My name is Felix. I am an 3rd year game engineer student. I am currently working on a game fro a school project with a team of game designers, artists and other programmers to make an small story driven game where the player can say whatever to the NPC’s. We think Rasa can help us to do just this. The idea is to turn each NPC into an ‘chatbot’. So the player has to figure out what to say to get the information from the NPC that the player is looking for instead of choosing from a select few dialogue options. I am learning a lot about machine learning and how chatbots are made. I know this project is really ambitious, but I believe that it is doable. I want to thank the Rasa team for the awesome work they are doing.

It has a very similar concept to what you want to achieve so you can check it out if you need some inspiration I played it a bit and I really enjoyed the concept of having a chatbot driving the narrative of the game. hey juste is there a provision to link rasa-bot directly to my android app? if yes how do we do it and one more question when we give input for example my bot handles food order requests when i say "i want pizza from south-hyderabad " bot recognizes location as ‘south-hyderabad’ since it is in the example stories.md file is there a provisioin to train my bot to recognize all the famous places in the world without telling it in stories.md

Hi everyone, I’m Simon, I’ve been working on data products for the past three years and for the past two years I was leading a small data team for a US-based startup in San Francisco.
However, I moved back to Berlin a while ago to finish my Master’s degree. I’m currently working on my thesis (a chatbot for a Berlin startup) and that’s how I found out about Rasa roughly 2 months ago.
Have been contributing to rasa_core for the past couple of weeks and other than that I’m preparing for my one-year bike trip around the globe starting early 2019

Its been a nice experience to working on RASA. I would like to build a rich conversational chatbot. I fall so many times to achieve something on RASA but now i have learned lot from RASA. I have tried few more other frameworks too but I feel RASA is the best now a days!

Hi All, I am sandeep from Bengaluru,India. Working in a American product base company as a SE. 2-3 months back there was a requirement for automating some of the user’s messages(sms,email,voice) like greeting, subscription,unsubscription etc. . We took it as a challenge and started doing POC using RASA to tackle this issue. We are successfully showed a demo to our higher management. Very soon we are going to start working on RASA Stack.

I’m Remy and I work at Helpr (only in dutch, I’m sorry!). We design chatbots to help students aged 12-18 study their homework. We’re using the RASA framework to do so!
Expect a lot of questions from me since I have the feeling we’ll be pushing the limits of chatbot possibilities a lot. We’ll have to cram the whole educational curriculum for school subjects into one bot. That’ll be a blast!

Hi, I’m Jean from Belgium. I am currently studying NLP in the UCLouvain University. My master thesis focuses on chatbots, specifically on how to provide a data generation tool for the NLU component. My goal is to build a NLP tool wich would be able to construct relevant paraphrases of the train data (based on machine learning in Python). Juste I enjoy your getting started with Rasa NLU youtube tutorial so much I had decided to join this forum. I do want to learn the best I can from all of your experts help. Although it took me about 6 hours to install Rasa NLU and I am still struggling with trying to fix the error on my 64 bit - windows 8 machine. I believe got every dependencies install but when I tried to train the child bot on your small data example it show an error on rasa_nlu.converter not found. Can you help me got over this troublesome issue? is there a wheel I can install or is there away around this

Hello, my name is Joe Gianelli and I’m the CEO of Aaware Inc. We have developed a fully embedded voice platform that runs on the ARM A9 processor (Ubuntu 18.04) found in the Xilinx Zynq product line. Looking initially for a couple of things here in the RASA community. First is a consultant who can help pull together a simple NLU demo that interfaces with our captured speech. Second is tip on best TTS (speech synthesis) running in Ubuntu 18.04.

Hi! @Devan0369 it’s all about version issue. I have also gone through same process. check your python version and all other dependencies in requirement.txt because currenlty there are updates has been done in rasa core.
